Shocking News



NAACP announces they will not be helping the Scottboro boys on their trial

free the innocent



After three years of the boys imprisonment, organizations united in order to protest their conviction.

Powell was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the head by officials. Powell slit Depuity Sheriff's Edgar Blaylock throat, Powell pleaded guilty to assaulting with the intent of murder. Judge Callahan sentenced him 20 years without adding the 6 years he already served for the rape charges. Both survived.
