It is amazing how huge the racism was back then. If you get to know the story, all those whites wanted the nine black males lynched for the accusations of them raping the two white females, Ruby Bates and Victoria Price. The court had to have the national guards protect the jail from this crowd. Its sad to see back then the hatred towards blacks.
